Good bye 2012 . . . . .

This has definitely been an amazing year. I have met some wonderful people, made new friends, cried over a clients kind words, watched newborns turn into toddlers, met some beautiful brides and look forward to my 2013 weddings. . . .phew that's a lot !

I can't begin to show my gratitude to all of you !  My existing clients and the new clients I am meeting.I thank you for the trust you put in me. I am most happy when I am behind the lens, capturing memories that the mind may forget, but not the heart.
I have experienced enough loss in my life to know how important it is to cherish those that mean the most to you. How that ONE image of you and your special someone can warm even the loneliest night, bring a smile to your face and even ease a small part of your pain. This is what drives me to stay behind the camera, to capture moments and to leave a legacy, not only for my family but for others as well.

I've gathered a few of my most favorite moments from this past year that I would love to share with you all. I've also considered some specials to offer my current clients along with new clients. I enjoy giving back when I can. Having the hectic life that I do, raising 7 year old twins, running a household with a new puppy { yes, he is included in my favorite moments of 2012} volunteering on committees for the twins school, and being a daughter, sister & wife, I knew I could find a way to give to my clients as well.

With any new client that books in 2013 you will receive a facebook time line cover with 4 of your images from your session. This is a nice display for your page and it looks much nicer than those pictures that just don't fit quite right in the allowed space facebook has given us all. It will be customized with your name & or unique message.

For my existing clients, I am putting into effect a referral system. Everyone loves a bargain, right? Once you send a new client to me, make sure they tell me you sent them. You each will receive a $25 print credit, toward your next session.

For my Senior Class of 2014 - each time you send a fellow classmate to me and they book their session, each of you will receive 16 wallets, FREE !

I've also decided to introduce a new type of session I've been having some fun with. Clients are now able to book a "This is how we roll" session. These sessions are super fun !  It's basically me photographing your family in your own setting, your home ! Or you at a picnic, or even an event; birthday party, family dinner, a trip to the zoo !!! Want more details, just shoot me an email trishdefilippo@audansphotobox.com

Ok, so I've talked enough - Let start with the new session preview - "This is how we roll"

Our boy doing his usual thing, playing guitar and singing his heart out. . . .I love the simple and real emotions in these images. I love that I have his tiny hands captured here, his long hair and his baby teeth. These are the little details most don't think of photographing, but once we have them, we're so happy we do !

One example of the time line cover . . . .this is a clean, fun cover to display on your page.

Some of my most favorite Seniors of 2013 - love these young people ! So full of life and potential !!!

Let's not forget our little ones . . . probably the ones that make me laugh the most !

And two beautiful brides . . . .

And here is the latest addition to the family ! Bringing us much joy !
Happy New Year everyone, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support through out this wonderful journey. You have all made a huge difference in my life !
                               Much love,
                         Trish

The Doering Family

I have met more & more great families this past year. This group was no exception! When Mom first contacted me she wanted to do a sibling shoot along with their two four legged friends. I was totally up for the challenge - 3 kids under the age of 10 and 2 dogs - sure, let's do it !!!!

We had more fun than I expected, the kids were so enthusiastic and ready for fun. Sometimes with a group of kids, you have to reel them back in, they get so comfortable with you, it's a little challenge to get them back to the task at hand. Snow ! That was my bribery, let's get a couple of great shots for Grammie & Grampie and then we'll have some fun with some snow !!!!

Enjoy your  preview Doerings ! This session is going in my top 10 !

Merry Christmas !

The Miglionico Kids

I know every time, when these three kiddos come to the studio it is going to be fun !

I always get a story about school or the latest craze - this year it happens to be the "rat face". This cracks me up, they always show me something new. This is the family that keeps me young and "up to date".

I look forward to their session because I never know what I'm going to get. Who has changed the most, who is going to give me the biggest smile, which props they are going to play with and this year I had a super big surprise, they called me Auntie { which melted my heart}. They are the sweetest kids.

Merry Christmas to my favorite Migs !!!

Newborn Baby Skylar

"It is the nature of babies to be in bliss "
Deepak Chopra

I had the pleasure of meeting Skylar's mom when she was 8 months pregnant. She was given a maternity and newborn session as a shower gift. During the maternity session it became very clear early on that this baby was going to have some great parents.
When I received the news that little Ms. Skylar had arrived I couldn't wait to meet her ! The day I met Ms. Skylar she was wide awake and didn't make a peep. She let me swaddle her and move her all about. She was definitely an easy going little cherub.
After a bit, she was getting a little tired. I had the honors of rocking her to sleep. Isn't that one of the best parts of photographing newborns ?!?! I really love that ! It fills my heart to know these new moms trust me with their precious, new, little bundles of joy !

The Canty Kids

There comes a certain level of excitement when you have a studio full of energetic, fun, sweet kids !  This session was no exception. Three siblings interacting at their best, laughing, smiling and being the great kids that they are.
With two older sisters, baby Zach is definitely watched over and directed to do what is expected of him. However, little Mr Zach does have a mind of his own and made sure his sisters knew that ! It was tough trying to get them all in the same frame, but it certainly was fun watching them together.

Teisha & Family

This time of year I see more and more adult siblings coming together for a family session to present as a Christmas gift to their parent. It warms my heart to know as adults these folks recognize the importance of such a timeless gift.

I've said it a million times and I'll probably say it again - tomorrow is not promised to any one of us, it is a gift. I was so happy to do this session for them. It's never easy getting 9 people to look at the camera with their best smiles, all at the same time,{in a super small studio} with tons of laughter,  but the mission was accomplished !

Enjoy your preview !

Halloween Mini Session 2012

Where there is no imagination there is no laughter. . . . isn't that really what Halloween is about for a child? Dreaming up their own costume, to be whoever they want to be, for one special day they are a scary monster or a sweet peacock, a playful witch or a spooky ghost.

Prior to having the twins, the two little people that live in our house and keep us on our toes, I wasn't much for Halloween.  I was the ba hum bug of day of gooey treats and frightful sounds. I never enjoyed horror movies or haunted hayrides. Now our plans for each year get bigger and bigger.

Taking in our new found love & spirit for the holiday, I decided to offer a Halloween mini session. I have to admit, I just love seeing Halloween costumes, the different ideas that kids come up with and the innocence of their giggles. Because of where we live, we don't get many trick or treaters ringing our door bell, so why not bring them to me on one day prior to Halloween ??

I'm happy I offered the session, there were some really cuties  . . . take a peak !

Here we have our little fortune cookie. . . just shy of 3 months old, she is the accessory to go with her brothers costume, Chinese Take Out. So sweet and creative!

Our very own Chinese Take Out - who doesn't love Chinese ?!?!!? Isn't that our go to comfort food ?

The most beautiful little peacock with stunning eyes !

This is one pretty raccoon !!! Love the furry and friendly young lady !

There is always a beautiful witch in the group !! Who ever said witches were ugly ?

And . . . . the princess !

Last but not least, our own little goblins !  Daphne being chased by the Lake Monster & The spirit of the ghost from Scooby Dooooooo !
