Teisha & Family

This time of year I see more and more adult siblings coming together for a family session to present as a Christmas gift to their parent. It warms my heart to know as adults these folks recognize the importance of such a timeless gift.

I've said it a million times and I'll probably say it again - tomorrow is not promised to any one of us, it is a gift. I was so happy to do this session for them. It's never easy getting 9 people to look at the camera with their best smiles, all at the same time,{in a super small studio} with tons of laughter,  but the mission was accomplished !

Halloween Mini Session 2012

Where there is no imagination there is no laughter. . . . isn't that really what Halloween is about for a child? Dreaming up their own costume, to be whoever they want to be, for one special day they are a scary monster or a sweet peacock, a playful witch or a spooky ghost.

Prior to having the twins, the two little people that live in our house and keep us on our toes, I wasn't much for Halloween.  I was the ba hum bug of day of gooey treats and frightful sounds. I never enjoyed horror movies or haunted hayrides. Now our plans for each year get bigger and bigger.

Taking in our new found love & spirit for the holiday, I decided to offer a Halloween mini session. I have to admit, I just love seeing Halloween costumes, the different ideas that kids come up with and the innocence of their giggles. Because of where we live, we don't get many trick or treaters ringing our door bell, so why not bring them to me on one day prior to Halloween ??

I'm happy I offered the session, there were some really cuties  . . . take a peak !

Here we have our little fortune cookie. . . just shy of 3 months old, she is the accessory to go with her brothers costume, Chinese Take Out. So sweet and creative!

 Our very own Chinese Take Out - who doesn't love Chinese ?!?!!? Isn't that our go to comfort food ?

The most beautiful little peacock with stunning eyes !

This is one pretty raccoon !!! Love the furry and friendly young lady !

There is always a beautiful witch in the group !! Who ever said witches were ugly ?

And . . . . the princess !

Last but not least, our own little goblins !  Daphne being chased by the Lake Monster & The spirit of the ghost from Scooby Dooooooo !

The Saari Family

Before each session that includes a baby or toddler, my husband warns me "don't get any ideas". He knows my heart always gets tugged by the little ones and their playful & innocent ways. Usually, I'm OK leaving the session with joy, less desire to add to are already hectic lifestyle.
After this session it was a different story. Because of the laughter and happiness that was exuberant from this little one year old, I had to talk myself out of wanting another little one around our own home.

Enjoy your preview Saari Family ! You definitely have something great here, you're such a happy, beautiful and fun family ! Hope you love these as much as I do.

Erica & Scott {waiting }

A moment in my tummy  . . . . a lifetime in my heart

Erica received this maternity session for a shower gift and when we spoke about what her ideal session would consist of - " I haven't even thought about pictures" was her response. I knew at that moment I was going to meet a couple that was down to earth and focused on the arrival of their special delivery.
Mother Nature kept playing with me, rain then sunny rain then sunny. When I woke up that morning it was raining. Twenty minutes before our scheduled session the rain stopped and the sun came out! I was so glad. Fall had definitely peaked in New England and I couldn't resist these beautiful colors. So many miracles in one photo.

Enjoy your preview Erica & Scott!  I can't wait to get the news of your little sweetie.

Agnes & Mark

Marriage is the perfection of what love aimed at, ignorant of what it sought.

It was an intimate wedding being shared with those that hold most dear to their hearts. More and more brides are recognizing their special day is about sharing in the celebration of love. Although they still need & want those images to savor and look back on, they are opting for "pre" wedding photos.

This was a perfect morning {which originally was calling for rain } that started the day with lots of smiles and the desire to stand before God and pronounce their love for each other.

Enjoy your preview Agnes & Mark ! I wish you many years of happiness & health.

The Watson Family

Peggy contacted me when I was running a special on my face book page for new clients. They hadn't had a family portrait taken in years and couldn't wait for our session. Fall is her favorite time of the year, so we had the perfect back drop for her long a waited family session.

Through our conversations I found out they were a very laid back family, yet a bit nervous about our session.  I had a few tricks up my sleeve that I knew would make everyone relax. By the end of our session we were all laughing {uncontrollably at times} and talking about future sessions.

Thank you Watson Family for spending some time with me and realizing we really can have some fun taking pictures of such a fun family !

Enjoy your preview !

Kristan & Colin {Our little family}

Do you remember this beautiful couple ?

It's been 2 years since their beautiful day and they're back for the family session.
When Kristan contacted me for their family session we were excited to make it happen. First we were going to go to the beach over the summer, then decided to wait for late September. This session meant so much to them. Especially seeing their little girl, Sasha went missing one week before the scheduled session.
Imagine the frantic feelings of losing your little love and knowing you were "suppose" to have pictures taken over the summer and now she was missing ! Thankfully, Sasha was returned home to her Momma and life is back to normal.
