Halloween Photo Shoot " Pirates of the Compound"

This session was a couple months in the making. I'm not exactly sure how the whole idea started, but I do know it had something to do with a piece of clothing my niece bought for my great-niece.
So we started chatting about a pirate session, in the woods behind our houses. We would shop for the material to make the tutu's, sashes and head wraps. It was so much fun shopping and planning for our session.

It took a little work, but we got them all together. At the last minute we had an addition to our shoot, so she became the princess that was also captured by the pirates !

Every pirate "needs" an eye patch and long dread locks, right? This outfit was so easy. Take a pair of old karate pants, cut off to get your "pirate - ratty" look, add some rain boots, a t-shirt that was purchased on clearance, a eye patch from your own toy chest, some material from the $1.99 fabric store, a toy sword from the dollar store and you're done !

She's strong, beautiful and outrageously funny! Again, super easy costume.

And here is our very own little "witch"! Tulle skirt made from material for the fabric store, super cute little witch hat purchased from Esty and you're done.

OH, you love Jake & the Never land pirates? Perfect, you're in!

And here is our unexpected addition. A previous halloween costume of my daughters, a bow in her hair, some Dora jewelry and poof - done !

Now, anyone that knows me; knows how important our family dog is to us! Lou is definitely one of the family ! He does everything with us, so naturally he would be in this photo shoot. Andddd he's the prisoner, too cute !!!

We've done photo shoots in the past with these cousins, and I love it ! Can't wait to see what next year brings !

Kristen & Steve Summer Wedding

It was one of the most beautiful summer evenings you could imagine. The air was warm, but not too hot, there was a slight breeze and there was so much love in the air, you could literally feel it !
Kristen and Steve were taking the leap into marriage, surrounded by their family and friends and you could feel the excitement. They are a perfect match for each other; kind, loving, supportive and meant to  be together.
They have so much to look forward too and I wish them continued happiness in all that they do !

Senior Session with Ms. Tori Newport RI bound.

When I book a senior session, I most definitely want to express the personality of the client. Each clients has different interests, hobbies and of course personalities.
I really try to bring them to a place they are comfortable and can be their true self !
Ms. Tori had her heart set on a beach session ! I thought and thought and came to the conclusion we'd take a trip to Newport RI. I wanted a place that had other characteristics to help the artist in both of us come out. Ms. Tori has been a dancer for years and we were both excited to showcase her abilities.
I love that we were both able to be creative and the results were awesome !

Senior Session with Alex Jo

"I can't believe she's a senior in high school!" this was my response when Alex Jo's mom contacted me for a senior session.
I remember when I was in HS with her father ! Where has the time gone and why does it move so quickly? It didn't seem that long ago that I was a senior in HS and now I'm photographing my HS friends senior pictures.
Alex Jo is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She's kind, loving, beautiful and super smart ! She has a heart of gold and I'm sure she'll be a huge success in all that she does !

Senior Session With Two Beautiful Sisters

Imagine the feeling of having one daughter graduating from high school and one from college! I'm sure this mom had many memories rushing through her mind of these two playing together as children and now they have turned into beautiful young ladies.
Senior sessions are always my favorite sessions to shoot. I find so much hope in these young people and this session was no different, but added something. There was a clear bond between these sisters and it was amazing. They truly enjoy being sisters and if I had to guess, they are the best of friends too !

Love yourself NOW with Nikki

When Nikki contacted me for this session I was especially excited once I found out this would be a gift to her husband for their wedding anniversary !!
Being a mom  of three boys, dressing up, high heels and makeup where last on her list of must haves ! The everyday responsibilities of raising a family certainly can overwhelm all of us.
It was great to have Nikki in the studio. We laughed, danced and had a great time. I couldn't wait to hear what her husband thought of his gift !
