So we started chatting about a pirate session, in the woods behind our houses. We would shop for the material to make the tutu's, sashes and head wraps. It was so much fun shopping and planning for our session.
It took a little work, but we got them all together. At the last minute we had an addition to our shoot, so she became the princess that was also captured by the pirates !
Every pirate "needs" an eye patch and long dread locks, right? This outfit was so easy. Take a pair of old karate pants, cut off to get your "pirate - ratty" look, add some rain boots, a t-shirt that was purchased on clearance, a eye patch from your own toy chest, some material from the $1.99 fabric store, a toy sword from the dollar store and you're done !
She's strong, beautiful and outrageously funny! Again, super easy costume.
And here is our very own little "witch"! Tulle skirt made from material for the fabric store, super cute little witch hat purchased from Esty and you're done.
OH, you love Jake & the Never land pirates? Perfect, you're in!
And here is our unexpected addition. A previous halloween costume of my daughters, a bow in her hair, some Dora jewelry and poof - done !
Now, anyone that knows me; knows how important our family dog is to us! Lou is definitely one of the family ! He does everything with us, so naturally he would be in this photo shoot. Andddd he's the prisoner, too cute !!!
We've done photo shoots in the past with these cousins, and I love it ! Can't wait to see what next year brings !
