Senior Session with Alex Jo

"I can't believe she's a senior in high school!" this was my response when Alex Jo's mom contacted me for a senior session. 
I remember when I was in HS with her father ! Where has the time gone and why does it move so quickly? It didn't seem that long ago that I was a senior in HS and now I'm photographing my HS friends senior pictures.
Alex Jo is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She's kind, loving, beautiful and super smart ! She has a heart of gold and I'm sure she'll be a huge success in all that she does ! 

Senior Session With Two Beautiful Sisters

Imagine the feeling of having one daughter graduating from high school and one from college! I'm sure this mom had many memories rushing through her mind of these two playing together as children and now they have turned into beautiful young ladies. 
Senior sessions are always my favorite sessions to shoot. I find so much hope in these young people and this session was no different, but added something. There was a clear bond between these sisters and it was amazing. They truly enjoy being sisters and if I had to guess, they are the best of friends too !

Love yourself NOW with Nikki

When Nikki contacted me for this session I was especially excited once I found out this would be a gift to her husband for their wedding anniversary !!
Being a mom  of three boys, dressing up, high heels and makeup where last on her list of must haves ! The everyday responsibilities of raising a family certainly can overwhelm all of us.
It was great to have Nikki in the studio. We laughed, danced and had a great time. I couldn't wait to hear what her husband thought of his gift ! 

Lisa & Anthony

It was with much excitement when I met Lisa & Anthony in October,2012 to discuss their wedding details.

We met at the Water's Edge Resort in Westbrook CT. It was a beautiful venue over looking the ocean. 

Between the gorgeous grounds and the ocean at our disposal, my mind was whirling with ideas ! 

Lisa & Anthony had decided to see each other prior to the ceremony. We planned a first look that would allow the same "wow factor" as if he were seeing her for the first time walking down the aisle.

We blind folded Anthony and then brought Lisa to him, it was an amazing moment when the blind fold came off.

Off to the beach we went, which was ideal for this perfect summer day ! The lighting was perfect ! I would love all my weddings to be like this ! 

While speaking with Lisa & Anthony, they shared with me the special meaning behind Anthony's boutonniere. Seeing Anthony's parents were with us in spirit, they had two charms made of his parents to wear on their special day.

These are just a couple of statements from some of my clients pre-session. Those statements make me both excited and sad. First I am excited because I feel so privileged and honored to be the one that will show them a new insight on their beauty. That they trust me enough to come for a session!

It makes me sad because there are so many people that feel this way about themselves. I can relate to each client that feels this fear, because I too, HAD felt this way about myself in the past, I get it !! Maybe that is why I enjoy these sessions so much !!! You leave with such an amazing feeling of worth, confidence and a smile on your face ! This makes me happy !!! When I see the excitement about viewing their session and telling everyone what they just did. It's an accomplishment, something for just them and it lasts way longer than a pedicure!

Every woman deserves a WOW photo of themselves. One she can look at and think " I am gorgeous!" Give yourself a timeless treasure, you will never be who you are right now !

It's a country, John Deere, One Year cake smash !!

One never knows what they will get with doing a one year old cake smash session. Some love the cake, others not so much. 
This little one certainly loves her frosting !! She was so excited when she saw her cake, you could feel her excitement. See what I mean?? LOVE !!!!

Maya's mom took a lot of time making {yes, making} the props for this session. The cake, cake banner, tutu and info board !!! I have to admit, she is pretty talented, even if she wasn't my niece I would give her the same compliment !

Love Yourself NOW session with Nequel

"I'd love to do this as a gift to my husband for our Wedding Anniversary" This is so exciting for me ! I love when clients contact me and are so looking forward to doing this for themselves. 
Once they set their appointment time and date, it seems like forever for the session to happen. 
What started off as a surprise, didn't last for long. Nequel just had to show her husband the sneak peeks I shared on Facebook and that was the end of the surprise.
